26 Newly Hired Instructors Take Oath to SSU

SSU, Catbalogan City – Initiated by the University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, 26 out of 29 newly hired instructors take oath to service today, January, 23, 2018, 8 a.m. at the CGS Multi-function hall.

Fourteen (14) full-time teaching faculty and 12 office-designated faculty solemnly sworn before the Republic of the Philippines to fully commit themselves to the university’s laws and regulations and to align their professional targets to the university’s mission, vision, goals and objectives.

SSU-PA President, Dr. Esteban A. Malindog, said that being an instructor in the university is like a camper entering a jungle. He must know what are inside the jungle to survive.

“Thank you for choosing SSU. I assure you, you are in good hands,” Dr. Malindog added.

Orienting the participants with the R.A. 6713 and Compensation Benefits, SSU Personnel Association Benefits, CSC Laws and Rules, Research Policies and Procedure, Academic Policies and Procedures, SSU Vision, Mission, and Goals, the event was graced by the lectures of Dr. Lydia A. Gonzales, Dr. Esteban A. Malindog Jr., Mrs. Evelyn D. Abaigar, Dr. Ronald L. Orale, Dr. Felisa E. Gomba and Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, respectively.
