The finalization of the Samar State University 2017-2021 Strategic Plan started Thursday, Dec. 2 (16) at Oriental Hotel in Palo, Leyte.
The two-day workshop was attended by key officials and other identified faculty and staff of the university.
Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso the university president emphasized in her welcoming address the need to “not only dream big for Samar State University but also to act accordingly” echoing the theme for the seminar-workshop “Preparing the foundations of an international University.”
In the course of the two-day activity, attendees will be asked to put their minds together to polish the strategic goals, objectives directives and success indicators for the key areas and how to effectively cascade the University Strategic Plan to the various units.
