CATBALOGAN CITY – University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, personally received the Plaque of Recognition from the Provincial Government of Samar on January 25 (22) at the Provincial Capitol Building for being a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA).
Conferring the plaque were the members of the 16th Sangguniang Panlalawigan who created the Resolution 16-600-21 series of 2021 sponsored by Hon. Fe T. Arcales during its 114th Regular Session.
The plaque shows the clauses of the resolution commending SSU “for bringing pride and honor to Samar State University and the entire province of Samar”.
President Cardoso, after receiving the award, affirmed her commitment in continuing the pursuit for excellence.
“We commit to do more and be more”, she stated.
