UPOU speakers share process of video production of LPs

CATBALOGAN CITY- Experts from the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) shared the fundamentals of the Video Production Process during the second day of the Webinar Series on Video Recording and Podcast Production on January 14 (22) via Zoom conferencing.

UPOU Videographer and Video Editor Mr. Alejandro Zamora tackled the Principles of Video Production.

In his talk, he shared the tyoes of camera shots, camera movements, framing rules and techniques, multicamera setup, and the lighting and audio settings that are helpful in transforming the learning packets into a video material.

Also serving as Day 2 speaker was UPOU Information Systems Researcher, Mr. Lexter Mangubat,  who shared the correct way of recording professional-like videos using a mobile phone.

He emphasized that using smartphone is the fastest and easiest way of creating audio-visual materials for learning.

The online seminar was also graced by the University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, the Vice President for Research and Extension Services, Dr. Ronald L. Orale, and the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante.

155 participants from all over the region joined this Samar State University (SSU) webinar.

The series will resume on January 17 and 20 (22) with the topics Video Editng Software and Podcast Production.
