CATBALOGAN CITY─ It isnever a “Goodbye” but rather “Keep in touch” for Samar State University (SSU) to Dr. George M. Colorado, CESO III as he takes his new assignment as Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Director of the CARAGA Region.
Dr. Colorado served as CHED Regional Director of Eastern Visayas for around three years. His legacy as a leader to State Universities and Colleges in the region during his term will always be remembered. Dr. Colorado, particularly has great contributions to SSU’s Hallmarks of Excellence. His unwavering support to the University’s projects, programs, and activities is highly laudable.
And as SSU expresses gratitude to Dr. Colorado, it heartily welcomes another great leader as its Regional Director in the name of Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, Ph.D., DPM, CESO III.
Dr. Aljibe served as CHED Regional Director in Central Visayas and SOCCSKSARGEN prior to this reassignment. On top of this, Dir. Aljibe also takes multi roles as he also presently serves as Director of the Higher Education in the Context of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (HECBOL), Special Assistant to the Chairman for Higher Education Institutions Affairs for Mindanao, and the OIC-President of Siquijor State College.
Being a champion of quality education and good public service, Dr. Aljibe inspires everyone, especially government workers to be better on exemplifying their oaths for the greater good of the Philippine nation and its people.
