CATBALOGAN CITY─ The first lady President of Samar State University (SSU) ended the year with yet another award, the World Excellence Award in Education as an Outstanding University President, which she received through a virtual awarding ceremony earlier this evening, December 30 (21).
The award was given by the International Internship University (IIU), the first global virtual university offering quality, accessible, location-independent education in various disciplines which responds to the SGDs mission 2030. IIU is accredited and affiliated with the World Education Organization and International Accreditation Organization in collaboration with top universities through Massive Open Online Courses.
Dr. Cardoso was selected for the award based on the merits of her academic and professional achievements.
Today also marks the formal launching of IIU in the Philippines through a World Summit in Education under the theme, “Global Competitiveness and Resiliency in the Changing World” aiming to give everyone free access to education.
