The Province of Samar commended and congratulated Samar State University (SSU) for being a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA), “bringing pride and honor to SSU and the entire province of Samar” through Resolution 16-600-21 series of 2021.
The resolution was created during the 114th Regular Session of the 16th Sangguniang Panlalawigan on November 23 (21) sponsored by Hon. Fe T. Arcales.
As stated in the resolution, SSU made history for the province of Samar being recognized by the PQA National Committee as PQA Level II Proficiency in Quality Management and being “the first and only among SUCs in the entire Visayas and Mindanao to be recognized as such.”
