CATBALOGAN CITY – Twenty-eight (28) Language Instructors of Samar State University (SSU) participated in Zoom room for the Webinar-Workshop on Crafting Language Research Proposals which commenced on July 19 (21).
Through the Research Center for Social and Culture Issues (RCCSI), the event was made possible to meet the request of the language teachers of the University who believe that the webinar is a necessity to edify the faculty to package proposals for implementation and strengthen Research and Extension (R&E) in the field of language.
The University invited Resource Speakers from Cebu Normal University, Dr. Remedios C. Bacus (Associate Professor IV) and Dr. Rivicka C. Alda (Associate Professor I) who expounded the topics on Overview of Pedagogical Research Issues in Language Education, Language Research Topics, Preparing a Concept Paper: Principles and Practices, and Language Proposals (Intro-References).
The webinar will conclude on July 22 (21) and the participants are expected to produce a full-blown proposal for implementation under the organizing Research Center.
