CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University (SSU) joined again the pool of Top Universities in the Philippines as it landed No. 71 in the recent publication of university ranking of EduRank, a web source of social activity in the education sector across countries and continents.
Ranking was based on an independent algorithm which looks into the performance metrics of universities’ websites and social media profiles including Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube among others. Technically, Edurank positions institutions based on its digital activity such as but not limited to social engagement, traffic to (the website), time spent on the institution’s website, and volume of monthly searches of and about the institution.
Being No. 9884 of 14178 in the world, No. 3883 of 5833 in Asia, No. 71 of 230 in the Philippines, and No. 2 in Eastern Visayas, SSU shares this excellence with its students and stakeholders as it continues to expand its impact along instruction, research, extension, and production to the global community.
