CATBALOGAN CITY – Learning, in the time of this pandemic, will not be hindered as Samar State University (SSU) through the College of Education (COEd) unveils FUN-Aradman Kaupod hi iSSUy (term coined from the Waray word ‘intoy’), a program that will continue the learning of kids while staying at home.
FUN-Aradman is a work-booklet that will let the family bond together while on quarantine, coloring and sharing ideas as they do activities in the book.
According to the team leader, Mr. Jake Boy Carbonquillo, the program aims to give a chance for the whole family to relive and recall simple living.
“FUN-Aradman amo an para ha ngatanan ngan upod hi iSSUy ha iyo paghibaro apisar han hagit han COVID-19 (FUN-Aradman is intended for all, together with iSSUy, to learn in the midst of the pandemic threat)”, he said.
Together with Dr. Gina U. Espano and Mr. Jhonil C. Bajado as co-leaders of FUN-Aradman, Mr. Carbonquillo and the rest of the COEd faculty will be distributing the work-booklets to 200 recipients of Brgy. Guindapunan, Catbalogan City.
“If funds would allow and if God willing, we wish to cater all barangays here in Catbalogan”, Mr. Carbonquillo stated.
