CATBALOGAN CITY – For Dr. Marife M. Lacaba and Engr. Maricris M. Ediza, founders of Bulig Catbaloganon from Samar State University (SSU), the first donation drive was not the end of the road for their team to help those who are in need. They, then, introduced the Song for A Cause fundraiser which will entitle donations for every requested song.

In a span of eight days, they were able to raise P61,200, enough to cater their targeted 200 beneficiaries.
The recipients from Sitio Cal-apog, Brgy. Guindapunan, Bo-ao, Brgy. 13, Brgy. Payao, and Brgy. Pupua received 300 pesos each today, March 30.
The Catbalogan street sweepers also received monetary assistance from the team.
The Bulig Catbaloganon, in coordination with DYMS-FM, will continue the distribution of relief packs and monetary assistance tomorrow, March 31.
