Catbalogan City – In celebration of the 30th National Statistics Month (NSM) and in the parade of numerical information and data innovation, the Statistics Society of Samar State University (SSU) held the Inter-Collegiate Quiz Bee at the Audio-Visual Center last October 1, 2019.
Students from different colleges represented their department as they vie for the winning title.
Rhona Rose Radomes, a College of Education (COEd) student, won the quiz bee.
“I am so blessed to have won this. I am so glad that the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) spearheaded this kind of event because we become exposed to the different competitions, and at the same time we discover what we are good at,” she said.
Noriel Giray, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Cevas Cabarloc, COED, won the second and third place respectively.
