CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar – To audit the college’s curricula alignment to the educational objectives and goals of the University, SSU’s College of Engineering (CoEng) initiated the “Curriculum Audit SY 2023-2024: Faculty Coaching and Planning for Program Assessment, Evaluation and Continuous Quality Improvement” on July 15 at the RIC Audio-Visual Center, Samar State University (SSU), Catbalogan City, Samar.
As proof of improvement, the college presented accomplishments of all its programs, namely Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE), Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE), Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE). The college received affirmative feedback and was recommended to pursue continuous improvement on its syllabi, curricula, table of specifications (TOS), and test questions (TQ).
Serving as members of the panel of evaluators were the Dean of College of Nursing and Health Science, Dr. Dolores L. Arteche, for the BSCE program; Acting Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Laura B. Boller, for the BSCpE program; Campus Director of SSU-Paranas Campus, Dr. Lourdes C. Del Monte, for the BSEE program; and OIC-Dean and QA Coordinator of the Graduate School, Dr. Lanie M. Pacadaljen and Mr. Nicolas Boco, respectively for the BSECE program.
