CATBALOGAN CITY─ The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) celebrates the outstanding performance of its students as 43 aspiring nurses successfully passed the May 2023 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE). The result was released on June 10 (23) by the Professional Regulation Commission bringing pride to the college and to Samar State University.
With 95.45% passing percentage for first-time takers and 93.48% overall performance over a 74.94% national passing percentage, the 43 successful examinees exhibited exceptional dedication, perseverance, and competence throughout their academic journey. Their exceptional performance in the examination is a testament to the rigorous training and education they received from their college.
SSU-CONHS places strong emphasis on practical training and clinical exposure played a significant role in preparing the students for the challenges of the licensure examination. By providing hands-on experiences in various healthcare settings, the college ensured that its graduates were well-equipped to handle real-world nursing scenarios.
With these newly registered nurses, the University hopes that they embark on fulfilling careers in healthcare with dedication and passion that create positive impact on the lives of countless patients.
