CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University-College of Education graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, Ms. Christine Jude M. Betanzor, aced the March 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) as she triumphantly landed at Top 8 among 48,005 secondary level successful examinees announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today, May 19 (23).
Dr. Laura B. Boller, the College Dean, couldn’t contain her joy as she made public her gratitude via a post in social media.
“To God be the Glory!” stated Dr Boller.
Joining Ms. Betanzor in the roll of newly Licensed Professional Teachers are other SSU graduates who made it to the pool of 201 passers from the secondary level and 100 more from the elementary level.
With a national passing percentage for the secondary level of 46.94% and 40.76% for the elementary level, SSU finished with flying colors with a passing percentage for first-time takers of 85.37% and 84%, respectively.
