CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso was among the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awardees conferred by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on November 28 (22) at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City.
The award is given to those who demonstrated exceptional contributions as a result of an idea or a show that had a national impact about the public’s interest, safety, and heritage.
Dr. Cardoso was evaluated along Noteworthiness of Outstanding Performance/Contribution, Sustainability of Contribution, Impact of Performance/Achievement, Reliability and Effectiveness, and Consistency of Performance.
“I am extremely humbled, grateful, and honored to be one of the awardees. I am sharing this to my family, friends, relatives, and colleagues. To God be the highest glory and honor!” expressed Dr. Cardoso.
The Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awardee also articulated her gratitude to CSC RO VIII through the Director of Samar Province Field Office Dir. Emmanuel L. Fuentes for the inspiration and support and for being instrumental to the award.
