CALBIGA, SAMAR –Samar State University-College of Education (SSU-COED) through its Office of the Extension Services brought Fun-Aradman Kaupod hi iSSUy to the Municipality of Calbiga through a conduct of Seminar-Workshop on Barangay Daycare Center Teaching on May 18 (22).
Forty (40) Daycare Center teachers attended the first day of the training-workshop aiming to equip them on the topics along Teaching as a Vocation, Teacher as a Model of Values, Personality Development among Teachers, and Early Childhood Education: A General Understanding.
Present during the event were the Calbiga Municipal Mayor Hon. Melchor F. Nacario, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Gina U. Españo, COED Dean Dr. Laura B. Boller, COED Associate Dean Dr. Jonah Gay V. Pedraza, Extension Coordinator Ms. Glory Grace E. Godin, and the Fun-Aradman Kaupod hi iSSUy Program Leader Mr. Jakeboy Carbonquillo.
The seminar-workshop will continue until May 20 (22) to tackle the topics on Teaching Strategies for Early Childhood Education, Motivating Toddlers to Learn, Managing a Classroom with Toddlers, Teaching Strategies for Toddlers, Understanding Assessment, Play-Based Assessment & Intervention for Young Children, Development of Traditional Instructional Materials for ECEd, Integrating Technology in ECEd Instructional Materials, and Understanding the National Early Learning Framework.
