PARANAS, SAMAR, Philippines—Samar State University (SSU) Paranas Campus (PC) formally marked the completion and opening of its Men’s Technology Building through a Turnover, Blessing, and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony held on campus on February 6, 2026, highlighting the University’s continued commitment to improving learning facilities for its students.
The program began with a Holy Mass followed by the official turnover and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The newly completed building was then blessed by Rev. Fr. Jonathan Zeta of the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Paranas, Samar, invoking guidance and protection for all who will use the facility.
A short program was held at the Men’s Technology Building, featuring key messages from University President Dr. Redentor Palencia and student leaders. Dr. Palencia delivered a message emphasizing the importance of infrastructure development in strengthening technical education and enhancing students’ hands-on learning experience.
Mr. Rene Bacarra, SSC President, delivered the words of gratitude, expressing appreciation to the University administration, partners, and stakeholders who contributed to the realization of the project.
The program concluded with a closing message from SSU Paranas Campus Director Dr. Lourdes C. Delmonte. The ceremony ended with a simple salo-salo and fellowship.
