PARANAS, Samar, Philippines—The Elementary Educators Society of Samar State University (SSU) Paranas Campus (SSU PC) was hailed as Champion and Outstanding Youth Organization of the Year in the inaugural Paranas Youth Achievers Awards 2025 held on November 6, 2025 at Paranas, Samar.
The group was recognized for its exemplary initiatives in literacy, numeracy, and environmental education, earning the highest distinction among participating youth organizations. Composed of students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program, the organization actively supports the campus’ extension activities aimed at strengthening foundational learning among children.
The Elementary Educators Society credits the guidance of its adviser, Mr. Aigie P. Gabane, and the leadership of Campus Director Dr. Lourdes C. Delmonte for sustaining its efforts toward quality education and community engagement.
The first-ever Paranas Youth Achievers Awards was organized by the Local Youth Development Office of LGU-Paranas as part of the week-long celebration of the 37th Adlaw han Paranas.
