MARABUT, Samar – SSU’s Center for Lifelong Learning (SSU-CeLL) promoted life and livelihood skills development among women organizations of Marabut, Samar, Philippines through entrepreneurial skills development and positive mind-setting training on June 25, 2024 at GL Garden Café and Restaurant, Marabut, Samar.
Led by SSU faculty-extensionist, Prof. Mary Jane Cinco, the training-workshop kicked off on the topic “Developing Positive Entrepreneurial Attitudes and Behavior and Fostering Collective Risk-Taking Mindsets and Behavior,” focusing on the importance of developing an optimistic entrepreneurial attitude, and embracing collective risk-taking behavior. Alongside this, SSU faculty-extensionists Necasio Abuda and Charlotte Mae Abuda, spearheaded the training activities on production of fabric conditioner and Buko pie, respectively.
The current program aims to uplift the socio-economic conditions of women in Marabut, Samar by equipping them with valuable life and entrepreneurial skills.
