With reference to NDRRMC memorandum no. 21, s. 2022 Samar State University-Paranas, Campus conducted an earthquake drill held on November 23, 2022, Wednesday, with the assistance of LGU, PARANAS Rescue team.
The activity started with an orientation. As the signal of the drill, the alarm rang at exactly 10:00 am, the SSU-PC personnel and students went out of their respective offices and classrooms, observing the health and safety protocols, performed with the guidance of the faculty members and staff.
While the alarm was on going, students and teachers performed the Duck, Cover and Hold to protect themselves from injuries.
The drill was successfully conducted with the participation of the students and faculty who performed stage emergency scenarios during an earthquake.
