CATBALOGAN CITY – Dr. Vivian L. Moya, Samar State University-Intellectual Property and Technology Business Development Office (SSU-IPTBDO) Director, flew to Tokyo, Japan for the Japan Patent Office/Intellectual Property Rights (JPO/IPR) Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Patents (IPPP) on November 24-30 (22).
The JPO/IPR IPPP is a course organized by the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS) which is recognized by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in Japan and Japan Institute for Promoting Invention.
SSU-IPTBDO, being one of the active organizations in pursuing IP protection in the region, was given an invitation to attend the said course to improve SSU’s assistance and services to its clients along its IP system aligned to international standards.
Dr. Moya’s participation to the activity will also pave way to strengthen linkages with international universities and organization and to enhance international exposure and mobility.
