CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University joins the reopening of the region’s State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Meet 2022 in Sogod, Southern Leyte on November 29 (22).
Hosted by the Southern Leyte State University, this year’s SCUAA 8 was participated by 10 other State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Eastern Visayas including the Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), Eastern Samar State University (ESSU), Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), Leyte Normal University (LNU), Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU), Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), Samar State University (SSU), University of Eastern Philippines (UEP), University of the Philippines in the Visayas-Tacloban College (UPV-TC), and Visayas State University (VSU).
With more than 100 SSU athletes on site, the University has already gained Gold for Vocal Solo, Silver for Badminton Men, and still in the game for Table Tennis and Basketball gold.
The sporting event will end today, December 2 (22).
