CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) faculty and founder of the startup product Coco Wine was invited to participate and represent the Province of Samar thru its Secret Kitchens of Samar in the “KAON TA, KAIN NA!” Food and Travel Festival 2022 of the Department of Tourism on November 10-13 (22) at the Ayala Cebu Activity Center, Cebu City.
The festival featured an on-ground mall showcase of specially curated foodie pop-ups featuring regional drinks, cuisine, and delicacies from established and emerging food and gastronomy desitnations.
Dr. Echapare was invited by the Samar Provincial Tourism Office to feature its Coco Wine, being “the best representation of Samar’s finest drink irresistible to the discriminating taste buds”.
During the festival, the Coco Wines went sold out and booked more orders from all around the country.
Dr. Echapare, as one of the two exhibitors from Region VIII invited to showcase their products in the festival, expressed her gratitude to SSU’s support.
“I would like to thank Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Dr. Ronald Orale, Dr. Vivian Moya and SSU TBI-LAMBAT for the support and for improving the Coco Wine brand,” she stated.
