CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University (SSU) Board Secretary Mr. Arthur Poblete and International Student Exchange Coordinator Prof. Pedro S. Cabrales flew to Surabaya, Indonesia to serve as participants of the Inbound Staff Mobility (ISM) program organized by the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) on November 12-20, 2022.
The program aims to provide a platform for non-academic staff to build networking and enhance their skills in pursuing internationalization.
With their attendance, Mr. Poblete and Prof. Cabrales were able to participate in observation, meeting, collaboration, and teaching activities; establish and deepen partnership and networks on international area of concerns; and showcase SSU programs and projects to ITS as its international partner.
And as the Commission on Higher Education encourages Philippine Higher Education Institutions to embark on internationalization programs and services, SSU shall continuously do the groundwork along this direction as it brings its programs and best practices to the world.
