SSU receives recognition as ViCARP’s member institution

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) was one of the recipients of the Plaque of Recognition awarded to the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Program (ViCARP) member-agencies awarded during its 44th Anniversary on November 17 (22) at Visayas State University (VSU) Research, Development and Extension (RDE) Hall.

The award was given to twenty-six (26) Consortium Member Institutions (CMIS) to honor and recognize their contributions over their years of hardwork and commitment in implementing researches along agriculture, fisheries and natural resources in Eastern Visayas.

Giving the award were the VSU President Dr. Edgardo Tulin, ViCARP Director and VSU Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovation Dr. Ma. Juliet Ceniza, and the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) Applied Communication Division (ACD) Director Ms. Marita A. Carlos.

The Awarding Ceremony was part of the 34th Joint ViCARP-RRDEN Regional RDE Symposium.
