SSU-SICAETLE brings anti-spasm lotion production training to Paranas

PARANAS, SAMAR –A team of Samar State University (SSU) extension workers reached a geographically isolated barangay and marginalized community of Brgy. Sto. Niño Paranas, Samar through a training on Cyathea contaminans anti-spasm lotion production on June 30 (22).

Serving as Resource Person was Miss Angelica Dawn Dejarme, a faculty from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) and one of the researchers of the aforesaid innovation.

She emphasized the importance of accurate measurement by presenting different volumes of the product ingredients in order to achieve consistent results and demonstrated the process of product development, which was also performed by the participants during the workshop-demonstration phase.

Forty (40) beneficiaries accentuated the potential aid of the product to their economic conditions once marketed and further expressed their appreciation to the team for giving them the opportunity to be capacitated.
