CATBALOGAN CITY – Ninety (90) alumni and graduating students of Samar State University (SSU) attended the Webinar Workshop on Communication Skills Enhancement on June 15 (22) via Zoom as part of the Soft Skills Series hosted by the SSU-Alumni Relations & Placement Services.
The activity, in partnership with San Miguel Corporation, primarily aims to emphasize the importance of communication skills in the workplace and how it could be an edge as a job applicant.
Topics along Written Communication, Oral Communication, and Company Promotions and Hiring Opportunities were tackled during the one-day session.
Serving as speakers were SSU-Graduate School (GS) Secretary Dr. Nathalie Ann Acosta, SSU’s Public Information Officer (PIO) Ms. Arianne Rose T. Salcedo, and San Miguel Brewery Inc. Visayas Planning and Development Head Mr. Denno B. Maylon.
