CATBALOGAN CITY─The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) arrived on December 9 (21) at Samar State University (SSU) to conduct Face-to-Face (F2F) Classes evaluation.
After SSU applied and submitted needed requirements before CHED for permission to hold face-to-face classes at a limited capacity, the CHED Evaluation team together with the composite team that includes representatives from the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) visited the University to evaluate the four (4) campuses and all of its programs for 2 days.
SSU President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, stated that the University has been preparing for the F2F classes since the onset of the pandemic by retrofitting facilities, enhancing learning management system, and adhering to health and safety standards set by both local and national health agencies and government units.
The visit was concluded with a post conference attended by the evaluating team.
