SSU students attend Consultative on Flexible Learning

CATBALOGAN CITY – Students of Samar State University (SSU) across all colleges attended the College-Based Consultative Meeting on Flexible Learning from July 24 to 29 (21).

The meeting addressed students’ concerns on adopting the new learning platform as the University transitions to the “Flexible Learning for Tertiary Education” as supported by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Speakers of the meeting include the University President ―Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, the Vice President for Academic Affairs ―Dr. Felisa E. Gomba, the Vice President for Students Affairs and Services― Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante, and the Deans and Campus Directors of the different colleges and external campuses.

These key officials tapped topics on Flexible Delivery of Academic Affairs and Services, Flexible Delivery of Student Affairs and Services, and Flexible Learning Delivery in the College.

After the talks, the students were also given the opportunity to raise their questions/concerns.

Spearheaded by the Student Welfare and Development Services, the event aimed to shed light on the methods of Flexible Learning delivery of various programs across colleges.
