SSU produces new RNs

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) produced three new Registered Nurses (RNs) based on the recently released Nursing Licensure Examinations (NLE) result.

The NLE was held from July 3 to 4 (21) and three out of three first-time takers finished triumphantly despite the limitations brought by the pandemic.

SSU got a 100% passing percentage in relation to the 64.65% national passing rate.

New RNs Mhea Flor L. Abarracoso, Alma Fe R. Delos Reyes, and Sri Zsinietzlane A. Solis were included in the 5,008 examinees who passed the examination conducted in the different parts of the country including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

In a Facebook post, the SSU-College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) expressed its laudatory message to the new RNs.

“Your hard work finally paid off! We wish you all the best as you take off for another journey, this time as a Registered Nurse. Congratulations, once again and may you forever treasure all the academic and life lessons you have obtained from your college life. Soar high!”

The University takes pride on this success and confident that the new RNs will continue to innovate, build, and serve as they practice their nursing profession.
