CATBALOGAN CITY– Samar State University (SSU) has been recommended for payout on June 1, 2021 by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) after it has met performance indicators set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting Systems.
Assessment results of the IATF show that SSU is eligible for the grant of Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for Fiscal Year 2019.
The University was assessed and found compliant along Good Governance Conditions including Transparency Seal and PhilGEPS Posting; Support to Operations and General Administration and Support Services including Quality Management System Requirement, Submission of FY 2019 Annual Procurement Plan non-Common Use Supplies and Equipment (APP non-CSE) , Posting of Indicative FY 2020 APP non-CSE, Submission of FY 2020 Annual Procurement Plan Common Use Supplies and Equipment, The Undertaking of Early Procurement for at least 50% of goods and services, Submission of FY 2018 Agency Procurement Compliance and Performance Indicator System, Submission of Financial Report, and Compliance with at least 30% of Prior Years’ Audit Recommendations; and Other Cross-cutting Requirements including Posting of Agency Review and Compliance Procedure of Statement and Financial Disclosure, Freedom of Information Manual, and Posting of Agency’s System of Ranking Delivery Units.

And while accomplishments of SUCs including that of the University for FY 2020 is yet to be evaluated, SSU will continue its pursuit towards excellent performance.
