CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) conducted students’ awareness on RA 8049 Anti-Hazing Law and RA 10627 Anti-Bullying Act through an orientation on April 21 (21) via Zoom.
The Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS) through the Information and Development Services invited Atty. Russel S. Pernites to discuss about the aforementioned topics.
Atty. Pernites emphasized the need to know these legal facts because according to him, “Ignorance of the law excuses no one.”
Students onboard learned about the policies to prevent and address the acts of bullying and hazing in the institution, if there’s any.
