Mr. Carlo P. Valencia, an innovation advocate and corporate trainer, served as the resource speaker on Business Model, Startup Pitching, and Founder’s Agreement.

The event served as a venue for the incubatees to prepare for the upcoming Investor Matching with Samar Chamber of Commerce and other private industries on April 16 (21).

A total of 15 attendee-incubatees participated in the online seminar.

Asked about her experience in the webinar, Dr. Rezy Mendaño answered, “It was informative and helpful for us, entrepreneurs.”

SSU TBI-LAMBAT has been established, primarily to help and create establish start-ups with successful business models in the region thereby alleviating poverty through technopreneurship or commercialization of technologies. And in fact, on March 12 (21), it received a PLATINUM AWARD from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL) for achieving a high number of drafted and filed Invention Patents and commercialized technologies amid challenging conditions in 2020.

This humbling milestone poses a challenge for the University to do more in terms of technology transfer and technopreneurship in the Eastern Visayas Region to which SSU commits to work on.
