CATBALOGAN CITY― Samar State University (SSU) submitted its video entry on March 19 (21) to the Regional Development Council (RDC) VIII-Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGDC) as it organized a competitive video making activity in support to the 2021 National Women’s Month Celebration.
And yesterday, March 30 (21), the University received the fruits of the labor during the Culminating Activity of the organizing committee as it bagged two (2) awards; the Viewer’s Choice Award and the 3rd Best Video Award.
The video entries were judged based on Content, Creativity, and Audience Impact.
Also recognized in the Culminating Activity were other awardees including Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and Biliran Province State University (BiPSU).
All participating government agencies and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) were given a Certificate of Appreciation for supporting the RDC VIII-RGADC’s initiative in relation to the Women’s Month celebration under the theme, “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!”.
SSU congratulates all those who participated including itself for these small wins which are actually big wins.
