CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) through the College of Education (COEd) gave free work-booklets for gradeschoolers dubbed as FUN-Aradman Kaupod hi iSSUy to 400 children in Brgy. Guindapunan, Catbalogan City on April 18, Saturday.
This project initiated by Mr. Jake Dayanan Carbonquillo, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Gina Uy Españo, Mr. Jhonil C. Bajado, the COEd Faculty, and with the support from the University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, was a huge success to sustain education even during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
The Municipality of Matuguinao headed by Hon. Aran D. Boller also supported the cause by adding coloring materials and additiona 150 work-booklets to the FUN-Aradman package.
The officials of Brgy. Guindapunan expressed their gratitude in return through a Facebook post.
Ms. Chantel Gabatbat, an SK official, said, “Gusto ipaabot han opisyalis han Brgy.
