CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University’s Research and Innovation Center (SSU-RIC) Innovation Laboratory was listed as one of the 30 recognized Fabrication Laboratories (Fablabs) in the Philippines responding to the needs of the COVID-19 outbreak by producing items that can be made manually or using digital fabrication machines such as 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, etc.
Only two schools in Eastern Visayas were included in the list, the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) and SSU.
The site will serve as a landing page for anyone who needs assistance from the laboratories near their vicinity. It will also show the statistics on the production made by the recognized fablabs.
