CATBALOGAN CITY- Samar State University (SSU), in its quest towards achieving world-class performance, undertook training-workshop on Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Application Course attended by the officials in the University on February 19-21, 2020.
The workshop was held to capacitate the key players of the University in writing the Application Report composed of seven categories.
“It is overwhelming to note that organizations, from the private and public sectors, located and operating in the Philippines may be eligible to apply for the Award and these include the state universities and colleges (SUCs) particularly Samar State University,” Dr. Lanie M. Pacadaljen stated, Director for Quality Assurance.
She also emphasized that SSU is qualified to apply for the PQA since its performance for the past five years established a trend of improvement along curriculum and instruction, research and extension, and production, making an impact in the regional as well as in the national level.
