Catbalogan City – Samar State University (SSU) conducted a Management Review Meeting as a subsequent action after the Internal Quality Audit last September 11 at the Audio-visual Center.
The meeting was attended by the President, the three Vice-Presidents, Directors, Deans, and heads of the different offices who discussed the Internal Quality Audit reports.
“Based on the Internal Quality Audit reports, they came up with a summary of findings on the processes and services that they have evaluated,” says Dr. Lanie Pacadaljen, Director for Quality Assurance.
One of the findings brought about from Dr. Ronald Orale’s talk on Client’s Feedback was that there is a need to disseminate information to the students on how to fill-out the forms.
“The client’s feedback form will be revised and simplified for the students’ convenience,” Dr. Orale imposed.
On the progress of actions, since there were three colleges and units which were issued with Corrective and Preventive Action report, the concerned colleges, units, and campuses, particularly their heads and deans, were able to discuss the actions taken by them.
“It will only be closed out by these colleges, units, and campuses if there will be justifications by them, and supporting documents and evidences must be attached in the CAPAR,” explained Dr. Pacadaljen.
Included as points of discussion during the meeting were the Client’s Feedback, Internal Quality Audit report, Progress of Actions on Non-Conformity, Status of Corrective and Preventive Actions, Changes Relative to QMS (Management of Risk), and the Actions on Recommendations for Continual Improvement.
