SSU launches HRIS

Catbalogan City – Samar State University (SSU), through the Office of the Vice President for Planning, Research and Extension and through the efforts of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT), introduced the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) today, July 23.
43 personnel of SSU attended the launching program including the University President, Vice-President for Planning, Research and Extension Services, Deans and Associate Deans of the different colleges, Human Resource Management staff, and the administrative personnel.
The initiative was done by the lead persons from the ICT office namely Zaldy A. Jabiñar, Nathaniel Guio A. Mendoza and Keno C. Ginez who discussed this morning the HRIS inclusive of the online access of the 201 File (Personal Data Sheet), SALN (Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth), IPCR (Individual Performance Commitment and Review), Recruitment, Leave Management and Notice of Upcoming Events.
This afternoon, Mr. Jabiñar will conduct a hands-on workshop at the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) for the Payroll and Management System which incorporates the Regular, Casual and Job Orders (JO), Salary, Honorarium and Benefits, Pay-slips, Loans, Deductions, Taxes and Statutory Reports.
SSU strengthens its commitment as PRIME-HRM Bronze Awardee taking every effort as this to attain the Maturity Level III of the university.
