CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar – The accreditors from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) delivered their synthesis of evaluation result to close the three-day survey visit in Samar State University (SSU) today, September 27.

Spearheaded by Dr. Marcela T. Caluscosin, the Overall Coordinator of the AACCUP Team, the panel of accreditors stated one strength and one recommendation for each area of the  six curricular programs evaluated for Levels I and II accreditation.  One of the mentioned strengths of the institution is having a wide-ranging vision, mission, goals, and objectives (VMGO) dissemination system, namely the DYSY 102.9 Radio Station and the University Website.

Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, the SSU President, expressed gratitude to the accreditors.

“How lucky we are to have accreditors like them, we discover a greater capacity for generosity, cheerfulness, and contentment,” Dr. Cardoso said.

Furthermore, Dr. Lanie M. Pacadaljen, the Director for Quality Assurance, gave her words of acknowledgement by stressing that “the people behind in this three-day survey visit are blessings.”

The 20 accreditors coming from different regions of the country were also thankful to SSU during the Dr. Caluscosin’s impression.
